The Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Bashir Jamoh recently paid a working visit to the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral E I Ogala in a quest to deepen the relationship between the two institutions for the collective good of the Nigerian Maritime industry.
They discussed areas of collaboration to actualize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of creating a vibrant Marine and Blue Economy Ministry.
The issue of illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing was on the front burner as both leaders explored new vistas to ensure Nigerians enjoy the benefits of natural resources in the maritime industry.
