Fidelity Bank Plc is set to host the next edition of its Quarterly Business Forum in Kano on September 2, 2026, as part of efforts to equip businesses and entrepreneurs in Northern Nigeria with strategies and opportunities for sustainable growth.
The forum, themed “Positioning Northern Businesses for Growth,” will bring together business owners, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and other key stakeholders to examine emerging opportunities and trends shaping the region’s business environment.
Discussions at the event will focus on strengthening business operations, improving financial management, expanding access to finance, leveraging digital solutions and increasing market reach, among other strategies aimed at positioning enterprises for long-term growth.
The Kano edition follows the Bank’s previous Quarterly Business Forum in Port Harcourt, which provided participants with practical business insights, industry connections and opportunities to enhance their operations.
Speaking ahead of the event, Fidelity Bank’s Divisional Head of Small and Medium-scale Enterprises Banking, Ugochi Osinigwe, said the forum was designed to provide businesses with the knowledge, networks and opportunities needed to improve their competitiveness.
“The Fidelity Bank Quarterly Business Forum is designed to equip businesses with practical knowledge, meaningful connections, and access to opportunities that can drive growth and competitiveness,” Osinigwe said.
She added that bringing the programme to Kano reflected the Bank’s commitment to supporting businesses across Nigeria and empowering entrepreneurs in the North with the knowledge and resources required to unlock their growth potential.
The event will feature sessions led by industry experts and business leaders, while participants will also have opportunities to network, exchange experiences and gain practical insights into navigating the current business environment.
The Quarterly Business Forum is part of Fidelity Bank’s broader efforts to support the growth of Nigeria’s small and medium-scale enterprise sector through capacity building, access to finance, tailored financial services and strategic business networks.
The Bank recently won the Development Bank of Nigeria Service Ambassadors Award for the Highest Impact on MSMEs Accessing Credit for the First Time, in recognition of its role in expanding financial inclusion and improving access to credit for small businesses.
Fidelity Bank is a commercial bank serving more than 10 million customers through its digital banking platforms, 255 business offices across Nigeria and its United Kingdom subsidiary, FidBank UK Limited.
The Bank has also received several local and international recognitions, including awards for MSME support, retail and SME banking, export and trade finance, innovation and private banking.
