The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has urged Christians to use the Easter celebration as a time for reflection, spiritual renewal, and recommitment to national service.
In his message, Dr. Mobereola highlighted the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as a reminder of sacrifice, hope, and faith.
He called on believers to embrace values such as love, compassion, discipline, empathy, and patriotism, noting that these principles are essential for national growth and development.
“The Easter period should inspire fresh beginnings, renewed purpose, and continued service to the nation and humanity,” he said.
Dr. Mobereola also encouraged Nigerians to collectively uphold these values to build a safer, more prosperous country.
