NIPR Announces Annual PRICE Awards to Recognize Excellence in Public Relations

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has launched the annual Public Relations, Reputation, Ideas, Concepts, and Excellence (PRICE) Awards and Prizes, set to take place on December 7, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel.

The awards aim to recognise and celebrate outstanding campaigns and accomplishments in public relations practice in Nigeria.

According to a release signed by Dr.Omoniyi Ibietan, Vice Chairman National Planning Committee, NIPR Annual PRICE Awards and Prizes 2025, the PRICE Awards will serve as a platform to identify, celebrate, and elevate outstanding individuals, campaigns, and organisations shaping the public relations landscape across sectors.

The awards will honour works across various aspects of public relations, including strategy, creativity, innovation, and impact.

A 12-member Organising Committee, comprising seasoned public relations professionals and scholars, has been inaugurated to oversee the awards. The committee is chaired by Israel Jaiye Opayemi, a fellow of the Institute and Managing Director/Chief Strategist of Chain Reactions Africa.

The NIPR President, Dr. Ike Neliaku, expressed confidence that the PRICE Awards will motivate professionals, practitioners, and scholars, while enhancing Nigeria’s global competitiveness in the public relations ecosystem.

He urged the committee to engage stakeholders, sponsors, and partners to organise a world-class award ceremony.

The PRICE Awards will recognise outstanding works in various categories, including emerging public relations talents such as students and young professionals.

Winners will receive cash prizes and plaques to underscore the value the NIPR places on creativity and excellence.

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is a professional body established in 1963 and chartered in 1990. It is responsible for regulating the practice and development of public relations in Nigeria.
