Unity Bank Empowers 578 Young Entrepreneurs Through Corpreneurship Challenge

Unity Bank has announced the winners of its Corpreneurship Challenge, a flagship entrepreneurial development initiative aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

The challenge has empowered 578 young entrepreneurs across the country, providing them with grants and mentorship to turn their business ideas into reality.

The latest batch of winners includes 30 young entrepreneurs who received a total grant of ₦16 million during the Batch B, Stream II edition of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation course.

The winners were selected from over 2,000 applicants and come from various sectors, including fashion design, bag making, pastry and beverage production, event management, and vegetable farming.

 

The bank’s Divisional Head, Retail & SME, Adenike Abimbola, reaffirmed Unity Bank’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youth through enterprise.

She stated that the Corpreneurship Challenge is designed to nurture the potential of young Nigerians, providing them with the financial boost, mentorship, and confidence to turn their ideas into thriving businesses.

The Corpreneurship Challenge has become a launchpad for youth-owned enterprises, offering grants of up to ₦800,000 to help corps members turn their business dreams into reality.

The initiative has earned Unity Bank national recognition for its role in youth empowerment and job creation.
