Nigeria’s Transport Minister Clocks Three Scores and Three – By Sam Idiagbonya

Today, we join friends, family, well-wishers, and Staff to wish the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, a happy 63rd birthday.

We pray for peace, health, wisdom and long life as he, on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR leads the country’s transportation sector to an enviable height.

MJS as he is popularly called is a detribalized Nigerian, whose commitment to Nation building is worthy of commendation. His passion to better the lives of Nigeria cannot be overemphasized.

Hence, any office he finds himself, he discharges his duty passionately without fear or favour, but with a consciousness of doing the right thing at any point in time, such as we are witnessing in the Transportation Ministry.

His simplicity, humility, pragmatic and philosophical world views are part of the qualities that endears the old and young to him.

He is an active listener, a jolly good fellow, a humorist, a team player, philanthropist Generalissimo, an avid reader, highly methodical, principled and vast. He is a gentleman who behaves with utmost courtesy towards everyone he meets.

We pray for wisdom as he discharge his duties daily. May the Almighty Allah daily be his encourager and Succor, may God keep and preserve you sir.

Happy Birthday not as a poetic rhyme, but gratitude to the Almighty God for the years spent and hope for the years to come.

Age gracefully dear Honourable Minister of Transportation. Congratulations Sir!.
