The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN) have expressed condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the families of the 32 people killed in a Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash in Ondo State.
The aircraft crashed near Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday, October 5, 2026, claiming the lives of all those on board.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, NACCIMA National President and Chairman of OPSN, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, described the incident as a painful national loss.
Ibrahim commiserated with President Tinubu, who is also Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, as well as the Nigerian Air Force and the families of the victims.
“Our deepest sympathies are with the bereaved families, the Chief of Air Staff and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, and all others affected by the tragedy,” he said.
He prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved families and for the peaceful repose of the deceased.
