The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Port Standing Task Team (PSTT) and the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) on Thursday trained members of the Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria AMJON.

The capacity building workshop with the theme: ‘Enhancing Capacity/Efficiency on Modern News Reportage’, held at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Topo, Badagry, Lagos State, was well attended by members.
The President of Amjon, Paul Ogbuokiri, said the workshop was designed to sharpen the reportorial skills of the journalists about the sector.
The Coordinator, Port Standing Task Team (PSTT), Moses Fadipe, was presented with an Award for outstanding performance by AMJON at the event.
The NCS, PSTT and NIWA all made presentations on various topics at the event.
