NIMASA DG Reaffirms Commitment to Maritime Sector Growth in End-of-Year Message

The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their cooperation and support, describing 2025 as a landmark year for Nigeria’s maritime industry.

In an end-of-year message, Mobereola thanked industry partners for their collaboration, noting that their contributions were central to the progress recorded across the maritime sector during the year.

He said 2025 witnessed notable achievements and a restoration of international confidence in Nigeria’s maritime industry, positioning the sector for sustained growth and improved performance.

Looking ahead to 2026, the NIMASA chief said the agency remains committed to consolidating the gains recorded and delivering greater outcomes that will further strengthen the maritime sector and contribute to national development.

Mobereola expressed optimism that continued partnership and collective effort among stakeholders would be key to achieving these objectives in the coming year.

On behalf of the management and staff of NIMASA, as well as his family, he wished Nigerians and maritime stakeholders a peaceful, productive and fulfilling 2026, while extending New Year greetings to all.
