APC Governorship Aspirant in Ekiti Felicitates with Teachers, Pledges Support

A governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Engr. Kayode Ojo, has congratulated teachers on the occasion of World Teachers Day.

He described teachers as the impetus for nation-building and emphasized the need to prioritize their welfare.

In a statement issued in Ado Ekiti, Ojo commended teachers for their sacrifices in impacting positively on the lives of students and youths in the state, despite numerous challenges.

He urged the government to treat the teaching profession with respect and dignity, given its foundational role in developing society.

The Governorship Aspirant commended President Bola Tinubu for prioritizing teachers’ welfare and urged state governors to support this policy.

He assured teachers in Ekiti State that if voted into power, he would create a more conducive atmosphere for them to operate, with incentives, training, prompt payment of salaries, and general motivation.

While congratulating teachers on the celebration, Ojo urged them to continue putting in their best to develop the state.

As a chieftain of the APC, Ojo’s gesture demonstrates his commitment to the welfare of teachers and the development of Ekiti State.
