The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of UBA Plc, has demonstrated its commitment to societal well-being by extending its generosity to the less privileged in Lagos through a charity outreach program.
The Foundation visited So-Said Charity Homes Community and SOS Children’s Village, where the elderly, children, and vulnerable members of society were presented with essential food items and relief materials.
The donated items included several bags of rice, beans, and other necessities aimed at alleviating hardship and putting smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries. The Foundation’s commitment to improving lives across Africa was emphasized during the outreach.
The beneficiaries, including elderly residents and children, expressed their appreciation for the Foundation’s thoughtfulness. The CEO of So-Said Charity Homes Community, Felicia Martins, and the Programme Director of SOS Children’s Village, Ayodeji Adelopo, lauded the Foundation’s efforts in supporting vulnerable communities.
