Nigeria Customs Service Takes Lead in AI-Driven Public Relations

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has reiterated its commitment to adopting artificial intelligence (AI) in public sector communication, as it continues to attract recognition for its forward-thinking approach.

The Service recently hosted renowned AI strategist and digital consultant Celestine Achi, who commended the NCS for its professionalism and forward-thinking excellence in public relations.

During the visit, Achi presented his book, “AI-Powered PR: The Essential Guide for Communications Leaders to Master Artificial Intelligence,” to the Service.

The National Public Relations Officer, Assistant Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, expressed gratitude for the visit and the book, stating that the NCS believes in storytelling backed by data and powered by modern technology to deepen public trust.

Achi also unveiled the NCS Live PR Attribution Dashboard, a custom-built analytics tool that tracks and visualizes the media performance of the Service’s communications.
