The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to pray for divine intervention to thwart efforts by oil cabals to undermine the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

During the November 2024 Abuja Special Holy Ghost Service, Adeboye emphasized the need for prayers to counter the sabotage attempts by unscrupulous oil marketers.

He noted that these individuals, who benefit from fuel imports, seek to prevent the refinery from operating at full capacity.

The Dangote Refinery, located in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, is currently the only functional refinery in Nigeria. Adeboye questioned the persistence of fuel imports despite Nigeria’s status as a major crude oil producer, asking, “Are we under a curse?”

He praised Aliko Dangote’s efforts to establish a functional refinery, highlighting the billions of Naira wasted on Nigeria’s four non-operational state-owned refineries.

Adeboye also criticized the fuel subsidy, citing its significant drain on Nigeria’s resources and contribution to corruption.

The renowned pastor alleged that oil marketers, International Oil Companies, and other powerful interests are collaborating to obstruct the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

He urged Nigerians to pray for the total restoration of the country, emphasizing the suffering of the masses due to soaring prices and the depreciation of the Naira.
