National Security: MILPOPPROF Solicits Agency Collaboration and Networking

The Military, Police and Paramilitary Public Relations officers Forum (MILPOPPROF) is fostering interagency collaboration and networking to enhance national security.

Zonal Directorate and Chief Facilitator of the Forum, Portia Aji, disclosed this at the end of a strategic meeting at the EFCC office in Kaduna.

Aji highlighted series of activities the body will be organizing to bring members up to speed with new trends in the profession in line with its committment to strengthening national security through interagency cooperation and professional excellence.

According to him, MILPOPPROF is aiming to boost members’ operational capacity through joint seminars, sporting activities, and training institution visits among other activities.

EFCC Kaduna Zonal Director, Dr. Benedict Ubi, highlighted the crucial role PR managers play in shaping their organizations’ images and stressed the need for collaboration to combat Nigeria’s security challenges.

The meeting culminated in the election of new executives, including representatives from NSCDC, NCS, NPF, NCoS, DSS, KASTLEA, and EFCC, to fill leadership positions.

Some newly elected members include: Badamasi of NSCDC Assistant Chief Facilitator; Sulaiman of NCS, Secretary; Mansur Hassan of NPF, Assistant Secretary; Abutu of NCoS Assistant Financial Secretary.

Others are Hauwa Mamu of DSS, PRO; Jamila Iliyasu of KASTLEA, Assistant PRO and Yusuf, ICT Desk. Portia of NCoS and Zainab Sani Ahmed of EFCC retained their positions as the Chief Facilitator and Financial Secretary in that order.
