The fifth edition of the Zenith Tech Fair has concluded on a high note, awarding ₦140 million in prizes to ten African innovators who showcased transformative solutions at the event.
The fair, themed “Future Forward 5.0: Tech for Success – Innovate, Adapt, Accelerate,” was held on November 20, 2025, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The top two winners, Trust Loop and Cubbes Technologies Limited, each received ₦30 million for their innovative solutions in digital KYC and AI-powered EdTech, respectively. Eight other finalists received ₦10 million each in non-dilutive funding.
The Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank, Dr. Adaora Umeoji, emphasised the bank’s commitment to empowering the youth through technology and innovation.
The Founder and Chairman of Zenith Bank, Dr. Jim Ovia, expressed his vision to continue supporting young innovators, hoping to produce the next generation of tech giants.
The event featured keynote addresses, masterclasses, and panel discussions on cutting-edge technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Cloud Computing.
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, called for increased technological empowerment initiatives to provide youths with opportunities to thrive in the digital future.
The Zenith Tech Fair has been hailed as a resounding success, showcasing the bank’s commitment to fostering an ecosystem where innovation thrives.
The bank’s track record of excellent performance has earned it numerous awards, including being recognised as the Number One Bank in Nigeria by Tier-1 Capital for the 16th consecutive year.
