The Nigeria Customs Service is thrilled to announce the remarkable achievement of Assistant Comptroller Akpevwe Ogboru, popularly known as Tracta 2, who completed a 35-day motorbike journey from Nigeria to Belgium.
Ogboru arrived at the Nigerian Embassy in Brussels on September 4, 2025, at 12:47 p.m., marking the end of her extraordinary 10,265km journey across two continents and ten countries.
Ogboru’s odyssey, themed “Ride for Women Inclusivity and Cross-Border Research,” aimed to promote gender inclusivity, amplify girl-child empowerment initiatives, and foster cultural exchange.
Her journey showcased her courage, resilience, and determination, inspiring countless Nigerians and Customs officers alike.
The Nigeria Customs Service received Ogboru’s achievement with jubilation and admiration, reflecting pride in the Nigerian spirit of excellence.
Comptroller General Bashir Adewale Adeniyi commended Ogboru for her bravery and dedication, urging Nigerians to draw inspiration from her pioneering effort.
