Nigeria female national team striker, Asisat Oshoala, has bagged the 2022 CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award.
The Super Falcons player emerged winner of the most coveted prize in women football at ceremony organised by CAF in Rabat, Morocco, on Thursday.
Punch reports that with the feat, Oshoala has become the first player in history to have won the African Player of the Year Award five times.
She was also adjudged the best African female footballer in 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019.
Similarly, in the male category, Sadio Mane was crowned the 2022 CAF Player of the Year for the second time.
