Oborevwori Will Retire Agege, Gbagi From Active Politics In 2023 – Okowa’s Spokesman

Governor Okowa and Sheriff Oborevwori

By our correspondent.

Governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress’s, APC, and that of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Delta State, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, will not be able to withstand the political sagacity and popularity of Sheriff Francis Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the forthcoming 2023 gubernatorial election in Delta State.

Leader of the Sheriffied Delta Media Group (SDMG) and Executive Assistant on Communications to PDP Vice Presidential candidate and Governor of Delta State, Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, gave the assurance while speaking at Crown FM Radio live political programme monitored in Asaba.

He berated Agege for solely relying on what he considered as “outdated and laughable media propaganda tactics against Okowa administration that has been adjudged one of the best and fastest growing economies in the country by President Mohammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, adding that Buhari profiled governor Okowa as one of the best performing governors in Nigeria.”

Oghenesivbe said the APC national government under Buhari appreciated Okowa’s good governance strides and exemplary leadership qualities with the national Award of the Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON, adding that Agege’s lies against Okowa and the state government will further crash his poor image and moribund political status.

The SDMG leader, who is all the National Legal Adviser of Atiku-Okowa Solidarity Movement in Nigeria (AOSM), noted that the loans and credit facilities obtained by the state government were judiciously applied to capital projects; socioeconomic and infrastructure developments…

Wealth and job creation, housing scheme, Universal Basic Education, UBEC, counterpart funding and other key projects that facilitated the rapid growth and development of the state economy and prosperity for all Deltans.

Oghenesivbe further asserted that as a result of governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa’s visionary leadership and judicious application of funds across all sectors of the state economy, Delta State is developing rapidly while Asaba International Airport has become number six busiest commercial hub in Nigeria, pointing to show the massive influx of business people, holiday makers and tourists from within and outside the country.

In his words, “While APC national government and President Buhari recognises Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, as a national icon and a nation builder exemplified in his visionary leadership qualities and enviable performance as one of the best performing governors in Nigeria…

“Omo-Agege is busy ranting, talking back and forth saying the opposite, telling lies via media propaganda with his poor mindset, thinning that his odious and laughable lies may sway Delta voters. That will not happen.

“He seem not to realise that the era of winning elections through the instrumentality of media propaganda and blame games is over in Nigeria’s constitutional democracy. Nigerians and Deltans are fully aware that the only campaign manifesto of the APC in the past is blame game tactics which can no longer work in our Democratic system.

“We are in the era of modernising and advancing Delta State as can be seem from the commendable achievements of Okowa administration. Not the era of blame games and unproductive media propaganda.

“PDP governorship candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, has the required capacity, he is very competent with enormous leadership experience to lead the next team of highly productive Deltans. He will listen more, do more and achieve more for the state and the people across the three senatorial districts.

“Oborevwori’s mega political force wired by indefatigable governor Okowa, shall consume DSP Agege and Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi at the polls in 2023. Agege must of a necessity wake up from his nightmares and face realities.

“The realities are glaring; APC national government ruined the robust economy it inherited from PDP in 2015, and in just seven years and counting Nigeria is backward and stagnant UB all aspects of the nation’s economy.

“It is crystal clear that APC’s blame game and laughable media propaganda can no longer work. APC propagandists like Festus Keyamo, and Femi Fani Kayode, shall become irrelevant in the political milieu after the forthcoming general elections.

“It’s obvious that Agege campaign manifesto for the 2023 governorship election in Delta State, is blame game, lies and media propaganda. APC national government is spending N1.7 trillion annually to service debts whereas our national income is far below expectations due to massive corruption and crude oil theft in high places under Buhari.

“Nigeria is borrowing to pay salaries and to service the neck breaking debts incurred by APC,  and DSP Agege had the shameless impetus to accuse Delta State Government for borrowing funds to grow the state economy and build massive infrastructure. The state audited account since inception is available and any Deltan can interrogate Okowa’s performance. It is that simple.

“Let it be known to Ovie Omo-Agege and Olorogun Gbagi that there is one man that shall retire them from active politics in 2023, and that man is Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, JP, the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom and the excessive local content Governorship candidate of PDP in Delta State, and by extension the governor in waiting.

“Both Omo-Agege of the APC and Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi of the SDP will not be able to withstand the Sheriffied political tsunami that shall crunch them at the polls in the forthcoming 2023 Governorship election in Delta State.

“Gbagi and Agege combined, will not be able to win one local government. Oborevwori will retire both of them from active politics in 2023.”
